Winemaker Notes

The 2022 vintage marks a turning point for this beloved wine, featuring Syrah (60%), Lagrein (35%), and, for the first time, Grenache (5%), which adds the secret sauce to this beauty. The result is bold and vibrant, full of personality and perhaps our most dynamic iteration to date. Its nose is electric, bursting with wild berries, black pepper, violets, and a hint of exotic spice. Whole-cluster Grenache brings irresistible energy, weaving in notes of bubble gum and crushed raspberries, while subtle stem tannins lend grip and savory structure. The finish echoes its aromatic beginnings—playful, textured, and unforgettable.
