Tasting Notes
This wine is full of personality, and perhaps our most favorite and most dynamic iteration of Bonne Vivante to date. Its nose is electric, bursting with wild berries, black pepper, violets, and a hint of exotic spice. Whole-cluster Grenache brings an irresistible pop of youthful energy, weaving in notes of bubble gum and crushed raspberries, as subtle stem tannin lends grip, texture, and savory, sinewy structure. This balance of tension and playfulness carries through a finish that echoes its aromatic beginnings, full of surprises and delights that linger long after the last sip.

Featuring Syrah (60%), Lagrein (35%), and, for the first time ever, Grenache (5%)—one of our latest vineyard plantings on our Amoenus Vineyard, and the secret sauce to this rendition—the 2022 Bonne Vivante is our take on a classic GSM with its bold and vibrant fruit expression, and serious Châteauneuf-du-Pape energy.
